1. Refractive Surgery Options

• ReLEx PRO (SMILE Pro) 

A flapless, minimally invasive laser procedure for myopia and astigmatism using the Visumax 800 femtosecond laser. The laser sculpts a small disc of corneal tissue (lenticule) entirely within the cornea, which is then removed through a small 2–4 mm incision in approximately 8 seconds per eye. This bladeless approach offers high precision, a smaller incision, and faster recovery compared to conventional LASIK.

• Femto LASIK 

Uses a femtosecond laser to create a thin corneal flap (20–30 mm incision), which is lifted to expose the underlying corneal stroma. An excimer laser then reshapes the cornea to correct the refractive error, and the flap is repositioned. This well-established procedure is suitable for a broad range of prescriptions.

• PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy) 

The original surface laser ablation technique. The outer epithelial layer of the cornea is removed, and an excimer laser reshapes the corneal surface. A bandage contact lens is applied post-operatively to support epithelial healing. PRK is particularly suited to patients with thinner corneas or other contraindications to flap-based procedures
